This is all you have to do:

2. Go to Adsense Setup/Competitive Ad Filter

3. Copy/Paste this list into field on that page.
4. Save changes.

How will this help me increase earnings?

As you know, your earnings per click with Adsense depend on price advertiser pays via Adwords. More they pay per visitor, more you get payed for sending visitor to their website.

Some Adwords advertisers pay very low price per click to bring visitors to their websites and than serve them high paying ads with no real content. This is called Adsense arbitrage and example of such a site is 8 best sites. This means that displaying those ads on your website is going to generate you 0.01$ click and this is what you don’t want.

You have actually blocked those ads from displaying on all of your websites. Cool, hah?
